My love for design started at an early age as it served as an escape from a chaotic home life growing up. In an effort to keep sane amidst the chaos, I would mentally transport myself by rearranging my room and decorating my little doll house. Finding solace in making things pretty, I soon realized how much I enjoyed it, and before I knew it, my friends would ask me to re-do their rooms and recommend my “decor services” to their relatives, where I would give décor and color palette advice. Over time, with the encouragement of friends, co-workers, and my husband, I decided to pursue interior design as a career. In 2001, I officially established an interior design business where I began collaborating with a friend who was a contractor, helping with design concept ideas and installation down to having a hand in selecting the finishing details, which gradually led to me acquiring clients.

I believe having a well-designed, organized space that reflects us changes people’s lives. Our home should be the place that makes us feel safe, comforted, protected, nurtured, inspired, and, most importantly, happy. Nothing makes me happier than helping others to get there. The incredibly profound joy of helping people create spaces they never imagined possible and better yet, proving that you do not need to break the bank to live a beautiful life is my MO.
